Today’s Tip – 4 Levels to marketing; Level 4: “The Cold” get one person sick and the rest will be infected
This is where your world of change comes in. While your campaign for a year is coming to its ending levels think about this one thing; keeping people’s interest in peek with what’s next for you. That’s right, this level is not just about whatever you had been pushing, but enlightening people that your product (name/company/band) is not going anywhere. You have more to come, and it’ll be bigger and better! Not so much, “hey a new album is coming” or “We’re having a sale in our store” kind of approach, but that YOU, are getting bigger and better.
You want to infect people with who YOU are. You want to get them sick with the “YOU COLD”. So much so that they pass it on to everyone else just by being near them. “The Cold” is as simple as ensuring your time has lead to infecting people with your good name. Your quality of product. Your purpose, voice and reason to be noticed and followed. You are keeping up with all that was going with Levels 1-3 but now you are presenting your future. The future of YOU into this coming campaign of marketing. Always have a Marketing Campaign going or it’s all for naught.
I also like to consider this “The Avalanche” approach. All your hard work has forced a marketing inertia in your favor. You pushed the snowball down the mountain side to have it be filled with possibility, growth and interest. I am sure you’d watch a huge snowball coming down a mountain. I know I would. Possibility of where will it go, end, hit! Growth of awareness, size and purpose. These things all happen if you continue to do all these levels of marketing properly. Your efforts will turn into a momentum of continued awareness. You’ll be able to focus on other things. Also pay attention to the marketing side of your product and give it a little push here and there.
